Vaccines are an effective way to protect your pet against harmful diseases.
Vaccines are necessary to protect our pets from potentially harmful and sometimes deadly diseases. They are made to keep our pets healthy and disease-free. There are many different vaccinations, so discussing your pet's lifestyle with our staff and your veterinarian is essential. To know more about our vaccination services for puppies and dogs, feel free to call us at (416) 351-1212.
Dogs that live in or near tick-infested regions, such as wooded areas where tick infestation is prevalent, should receive the vaccination. If your canine companion does not live in or come into contact with such places, your pet may not require this vaccine.
Core vaccines that puppies receive at 6 to 8 weeks old include Bordetella, Canine Distemper, Canine Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Rabies, and more. Consult your veterinarian to see which vaccines are necessary for your loyal companion.
Your pet might experience lethargy and discomfort for a couple of days after getting the vaccine. They might experience a slight fever which is usually a sign that your pup's immune system is reacting to the vaccine. The side effects and discomfort should go away in two days. If not, please consult a veterinarian immediately.
