I was born in Hong Kong, and since I was a little girl, I have had a special connection with furry and feathered beings.
My first childhood pup was a Basset, and that sealed my favouritism towards this special breed. I finally decided to pursue my veterinary career down under and eventually acquired my veterinary degree from University of Queensland in 2009. Prior to being licensed in Ontario, I had the privilege to practice exotic and small animal medicine in Australia, Hong Kong, and Canada.
Since 2010, I have continued to practice small animal medicine across the GTA. My current special interest is in small animal internal medicine, emergency medicine and surgery. I love clinical practice because I love being part of the human-animal bond, something most people in the field share in common.
In my spare time, I love having my 17 year old cat supervise me cleaning our home, while my 12 year old lazy Basset dreams about eating.
