Dr. Sabetghadam graduated as a DVM from the School of Veterinary Medicine in Iran in 2003. She worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. She decided to continue her academic education in the human medical research field. She obtained her Master in Pharmacology, and PhD in neuroscience with a fellowship majoring in epilepsy.
During the pandemic, she made a transition in her career and obtained her restricted license from the College of Veterinarians of Ontario until the completion of the Board exam, which she is currently on the waiting list due to the pandemic delay. She implements collaborative evidence-based treatments and believes pet owners are a crucial element in their pet's health care, so keeping them well informed is very important.
