Elizabeth (Beth) Wiebe

ImageI am Elizabeth (Beth) Wiebe. I am a registered veterinary technician. I was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I completed a Bachelor of Arts (History) degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2000. In 2004 I received my diploma in veterinary technology from SIAST, a community college in Saskatoon.

I moved to Toronto in October 2004 to join the team at our sister clinic, Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital. When we opened Front Street Animal Hospital I transferred here as the clinic manager and technician.

Having come to Toronto petless, I was quickly adopted by a 2-year-old cat, Zelda, in 2005. She is a longhaired calico who enjoys lying in the bathroom sink and shedding everywhere. Zelda's quiet life was completely turned upside down in June 2006 when I got, Ollie, a whippet puppy. When not chasing after Zelda, Ollie, comes to work with me as our clinic ‘mascot’.

ImageEvery day, I enjoy interacting with new and old patients and their owners. Although I enjoy most aspects of my work (cleaning up smelly messes will never be fun), I have a special interest in anesthesia. I will do my best to help you give your pet a long, healthy, happy life. My top tips for a healthy animal are to keep him/her at a healthy weight and ensure that his/her teeth are in good condition lifelong.
